weekend of ministry

I want to update you on this past weekend of ministry, April 25-26.  I had an amazing opportunity to preach at three churches on Saturday and Sunday.  Saturday afternoon I preached from John 4-"Taking my identity back," at the Women of Excellence Conference in Sebring, FL.  The Lord healed a marriage that day and many others were healed emotionally and physically.  Sunday we started off at a church in Sebring and preached from John 5-"Living Higher in 2015."  Again, the Lord healed people physically and God's people were so receptive to the Word and a move of the Spirit.  Then Sunday night I preached at House of Praise in Sebring to a small crowd and it was powerful.  My text was from Luke 17 (the lepers)-"Keep it moving."  I felt an anointing all day to pray over married couples, and that night, I had never seen so many men cry out to the Lord.  We prayed for them and empowered them to be the men and priests of their homes as they walked around the room hand in hand with their wives.  God is so good and I give Him all the glory and praise for what He has done, is doing, and will do.  Your prayers and support for this ministry are appreciated.  We have much to do for the Kingdom, but we are getting their one day at a time.  Thursday through Saturday, I will be in Orlando for the Pastors and Leadership Conference with Bishop Jakes.  I am so excited and looking forward to receiving after pouring out all weekend!

On another note.  My heart has been heavy with the goings on in Baltimore.  Please, please, please stop right now and pray for Baltimore.  The problem in our country is FEAR.  The enemy has joined fear with racism and made an explosive combination.  He has tricked us and distracted us from the real problem.  The police are afraid of citizens and the citizens are afraid of the police who are here to protect us.  So, we cast out fear in this country right now in the Name of Jesus!  Come 'on join me and right now cast out fear...it has to go...the demonic spirit of fear has to leave not only Baltimore, but the United States as a whole.  Give us wisdom, Lord.  Give us peace, Lord.  Deliver us, AGAIN, from ourselves God.  In Jesus' Name! Amen!
Bless you and have a wonderful week.

The battle is the lord's

I am all shook up today over this word.  I had to pause and cry out to the Lord after I read this today.  Please read the story of David and Goliath again in I Samuel 17.  Before David went up against Goliath, he acknowledged that the Lord didn't need a sword or spear, but the battle is His and He would deliver Goliath into his hands (v.47).  I began to think and cry and pray.  I thought (in the natural) that I have no right to ask God to bail me out of things that I have gotten myself into...but then (in the Spirit) I acknowledged, "YES I DO."  Not because I am special or anything to do with me, but because we are in relationship.  I am in relationship with the Lord, and even though I/we do stupid things that get us in trouble, because of this relationship, I/we can ask Him to bail us out.  Didn't the Israelites do that throughout their history?  They turned against God, but He was pleased that He had made His people (I Samuel 12.22).  He is faithful even when we are not.  The battle is His.  Even if we caused the problem, He still fights for us!  If we can get that in our hearts and spirits, then we will understand that He commands us to live right, love, and pray.  He never told us to fight!

your pain has a purpose

I had church at the beach today and it was oh so good....!!  Just me and Father for 3 hours.  While there, I read this, "Then I took your father Abraham from the other side of the River, led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his descendants and gave him Isaac. To Isaac I gave Jacob and Esau. To Esau I gave the mountains of Seir to possess, but Jacob and his children went down to Egypt" (Joshua 24.3-4, NKJV).  Please notice, the BUT Jacob and his children, etc...there goes that BUT again in Scripture.  Let's expound upon this passage of Scripture, shall we?  Jacob or Israel, God's chosen people were sent into slavery, while Esau, the one He hated (did not choose-Malachi 1.2-3), was sent off to the mountains to reside.  Let's go further with this thought...The Edomites, the descendants of Esau, lived on Mount Seir or Edom.  Esau founded the country and dwelled there.  They intermarried with the Horites and was a tribal chief nation before becoming a monarchy.  Eventually, they were subject to Babylon, but in the early centuries of their existence, they enjoyed freedom.  The Israelites, on the other hand, were sent to Egypt, by God, into slavery for 430 years!  We really do not know why God chose Abraham from a family that worshipped other gods, to produce His chosen, royal priesthood, but He did. He wanted the Israelites to be in covenant with Him, and through this nation, salvation would come to the world!  Hold up, wait a minute!  We see a similar situation in the Gospels when after Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, and His ministry begins, the Holy Spirit sent Him into the wilderness to get tempted by the devil.  So, here is where you are affected.  You might be going through hell in your life right now.  You might be in a situation that seems impossible to overcome.  You might be asking God why did you send me here with these crazy people, or why into this situation?  Lord, why?  If you look back throughout history, every great man or woman in Scripture went through some test or trial or tribulation.  That's what made them great!  Your pain has a purpose.  God is chiseling US, pruning us, taking out all of the ugly mess, disciplining us (cause He disciplines those He loves).  He is getting us ready for promotion. I would suggest that you use this time to get rid of any toxicity in your life, body, and mind.  This is what I am doing right now. We need to be ready for promotion.  Our barns can't be full and vats overflowing if we have no where to put the produce and wine.  As singer Daryl Coley says, "He is preparing me for things I cannot handle right now."  Get ready for a promotion after the pain is gone!  Blessings...
